Alberta Risner

Alberta Mae Risner January 30, 1943-June 25, 2017 Alberta Mae Risner, 74, of Noblesville, Indiana, passed away Sunday, June 25, 2017 at I.U. Heath Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born January 30, 1943 in La Porte, Indiana, the daughter of Herman Bartusch and Viola Mae (Nelson) Bartusch. Alberta enjoyed eating out, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and her dogs, Joon and Gidget and her four cats. She also enjoyed doing genealogy, hummingbird watching, being out in the sun, quilting, traveling and going on road trips, Alberta completed two of her bucket list items by going white water rafting and riding in a hot air balloon. She is survived by her four daughters, Mary E. Joseph of Greenwood, IN, Sandra K. (Eugene Simmon) Archibeque of Albemarle, NC, Kathleen S. (Eric) Hunter of West Port, IN, KeKe (Don) Senkus of Noblesville, IN; fifteen grandchildren, Megan, Matthew, Rebecca, Waylon, Wendy, Jock, Garrett, Matthew, Benjamin, Keely, Jacey, Jake, Dylan, Russell, Jr. and Sheila; twenty-four great-grandchildren; sister, Joveta Wyman of San Juan Capistrano, CA and numerous nieces, nephews and special friends. Alberta was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Russell John Tarr, Sr., two brothers, Melvin Bartusch and Edward Bartusch, two sisters, Birdie Dobszewicz, and Phyllis Alexander. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN where the family will receive friends Thursday, June 29, 2017, from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm and Friday, June 30, 2017, from 10:00 am until time of service A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Friday June 30, 2017 at 11:00 am.
