Alice Sult

Mrs. Alice H. Sult, 92, of La Porte, IN, passed away on Thursday April 14, 2011 at Golden Living Center Fountainview in LaPorte. She was born September 26, 1918 in Fish Lake, Indiana, the daughter of Charles Loring and Ora (Bunton) Loring. Alice was a member of First Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, and traveling. Alice was a loving mother and grandmother, her biggest enjoyment was her grandchildren. Her positive attitude was an inspiration for everyone. On October 31, 1936, in Fish Lake, IN, she married Elmer Sult who survives. She is also survived by her son - Neil (Sue) Sult of Cape Canaveral, FL; daughter - Lynn (Andrew) Serafin of La Porte, IN; seven grandchildren - Andy Serafin, Alex Serafin, Cyndi Desormeaux, Kelly Hutton, Brad Sult, Anna Ritchie, Melisa Bonvik, ten great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Alice was preceded in death by her parents, son, Terry Sult, three sisters and two brothers. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. where the family will receive friends Sunday, April 17, 2011 from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm & Monday, April 18, 2011 from 12:00 pm, until time of service. Services will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Monday April 18, 2011 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Chuck Epperly officiating. Interment will follow at the Pine Lake Cemetery, LaPorte, IN.
