Charles "Chuck" L. Roda August 9, 1958-February 15, 2015 Mr. Charles "Chuck" L. Roda, 56, of Mill Creek, Indiana, died Sunday February 15, 2015 at in Mill Creek, IN. He was born August 9, 1958 in La Porte, Indiana, the son of James C. Roda and Rebecca (Blackburn) Roda. Charles had worked for twenty-five years as a driver for Fed Ex. He was a member of LaPorte Moose Lodge, Fraternal Order of Eagles of LaPorte, and Gleaners. Charles enjoyed farming, being outdoors and enjoyed being on his computer. He is survived by his mother, Rebecca Roda of Rolling Prairie, IN, son, James (Angela) Roda of Culver, IN; daughter, Amanda (Keith) Collins of Rolling Prairie, IN; three grandchildren, Makayla Collins, Konner Collins, Serenity Cowger; a brother, Paul Roda of Plymouth, IN; three sisters, Loretta (Dan) Johnston of New Carlisle, IN, Christine (Doug) Keeling of Bremen, IN, and Peggy Haag of Plymouth, IN; several nieces and nephews. Charles was preceded in death by his father, James C Roda, and brother-in-law, Mike Haag. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN where the family will receive friends Thursday, February 19, 2015, from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm CST and Friday, February 20, 2015, from 9:00 am, CST until time of service. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Friday February 20, 2015 at 10:00 am CST, with Robert Baird officiating.
