Cody D. Strauch March 8, 1997-November 15, 2017 Cody D. Strauch, 20, of Rolling Prairie, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2017 in Rolling Prairie, Indiana. He was born March 8, 1997 in South Bend, Indiana, the son of Ronald Strauch and Gina (Pierce) Strauch of Rolling Prairie, Indiana. Cody graduated in 2015 from New Prairie High School. He played high school soccer and basketball. He enjoyed watching professional sports and was a huge Notre Dame fan. Cody enjoyed driving and owning Honda Civics. He especially enjoyed spending time with his friends. Cody made everyone around him smile and laugh with his great sense of humor. He is survived by his sister, Kailin Strauch of Rolling Prairie, IN; grandparents, Larry and Brenda Pierce of Seymour, TN; special grandparents, Pete and Diane Oberholtzer of Rolling Prairie, IN; special grandparents, Mike and Cindy Miller of Rolling Prairie, IN; special grandparents, Bill and Diane O'Banion of Hudson Lake, IN; special mom, C.J. Kelley of New Carlisle, IN; three aunts, Angie (Nancy) Pierce of Cleveland, OH, Lori Towle of Detroit, MI, Ranell Strauch of Hudson Lake, IN; three uncles, Roger (Patti) Strauch of Rolling Prairie, IN, Rick (Jennifer) Strauch of KY, Ryan (Carrie) Strauch of Union Mills, IN; seven cousins, Josh, Jessie, Barry, Jr., Thomas, Brycen, Clayten, Ashlen; long-time girlfriend, Jaden Vervynckt of New Carlisle, IN. Cody was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roger and Carol Strauch. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Indiana where the family will receive friends Friday, November 17, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, November 18, 2017 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor John Marron officiating.
