Elsie Tuley

Elsie L. Tuley, 85, of Rolling Prairie, Indiana, died Sunday, November 11, 2012 at Golden Living Center Fountainview in LaPorte, IN. She was born December 17, 1926 in Monterey, Indiana, the daughter of Valentine Reinhold and Mabel (Bitterling) Reinhold. Elsie enjoyed sewing, gardening and was an animal lover. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. On February 8, 1948, in Monterey, IN, she married Guy Tuley, who preceded her in death September 2, 1993. She is survived by her son - Christopher Tuley of Rolling Prairie, IN; daughter - Victoria (James) Napiwocki of La Porte, IN; 4 grandchildren - Melissa (Larry) Whitaker, Timothy Napiwocki, Gregory Napiwocki, and Kristen (David) O'Dell all of La Porte, IN; 4 great-grandchildren - Larissa Whitaker, Nicholas Whitaker, Brodie O'Dell and Victoria O'Dell all of La Porte, IN; one sister - Judith Carlisle of Argos, IN; 5 brothers - Valentine Reinhold, Jr., Lowell Reinhold both of Monterey, IN, Hubert Reinhold of Goshen, IN, Byron Reinhold of Rolling Prairie, IN, and David Reinhold of Kewanna, IN. Elsie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one sister, Kathryn Corbett. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, IN where the family will receive friends Wednesday, November 14, 2012 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm & Thursday, November 15, 2012 10:00 am, until time of service. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Thursday November 15, 2012 at 11:00 am with Rev. Dan McDonald officiating.
