Evelyn A. England March 17, 1931-July 29, 2014 Mrs. Evelyn A. England, 83, of La Porte, Indiana, died Tuesday July 29, 2014 at Golden Living Center Fountainview in LaPorte, IN. She was born March 17, 1931 in Michigan City, Indiana, the daughter of Amos Juckett and Maude (Ott) Juckett. Evelyn had worked for Howmet (Austenal), American Rubber, American Home Foods and Fountainview Terrance Nursing Home. After retirement, she was a caregiver for seniors. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of LaPorte. Evelyn loved her children and grandchildren. She was a great cook and was always there for anyone who needed help. On April 2, 1949, in Michigan City, IN, she married William England who preceded her in death in 1997. She is survived by her daughter, Tracy (Rick) Kosinski of New Carlisle, IN; five sons, Wesley (Eleonora) England of Buchanan, MI, Steve (Tina) England of La Porte, IN, Wayne England of Union Mills, IN, Randall (Kristine) England of La Porte, IN, Spencer (Erka) England of La Porte; twenty-seven grandchildren, and seventeen great grandchildren. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Richard England, and all her sisters and brothers. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN where the family will receive friends Thursday, July 31, 2014 from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm and Friday, August 1, 2014 from 9:00 am, until time of service. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Friday August 1, 2014 at 11:30 am with Rev. Curtis Southwood officiating.
