Frank Austin Beamon February 2, 1925-May 23, 2015 Mr. Frank A. Beamon, 90, of La Porte, Indiana, died Saturday May 23, 2015 at his home. He was born February 2, 1925 in Vincennes, Indiana, the son of Cleatus Beamon and Pearl (Thompson) Beamon. Frank had worked for New York Blower. He was a US Army Veteran during WWII and a member of LaPorte American Legion Post #83. Frank enjoyed fixing bicycles and rode bikes. He liked watching the Tour of DeFrance bike racing and car racing. Frank enjoyed the outdoors and doing yardwork. On August 30, 1952, in LaPorte, IN, he married Mary (Noakes) Beamon who preceded him in death February 3, 2015. He is survived by his daughter, Linda Beamon of La Porte, IN; brother, Paul Beamon of Vincennes, IN; three sisters, Dorothy McCune of Vincennes, IN, Betty Haubeil of Vincennes, IN, and June Carr of KY. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two sisters, Erma and Donna,and two brothers, Harry and Dale. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN where the family will receive friends Wednesday, May 27, 2015, from 9:00 am - until time of service. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Wednesday May 27, 2015 at 11:00 am with Pastor JoEllyn Chadwick officiating. Interment will follow at the Pine Lake Cemetery, LaPorte, Indiana.
