Howard Snyder

Howard Snyder, 103, of Fountain Hills, AZ., and formerly from La Porte, passed away July 16, 2011. He is survived by one daughter, Janet Swigert of , AZ, seven grandchildren; Lyn Marshall of CO, Cris Marshall of La Porte, Kyle Graber of AZ, Kary Henning of Granger, Kelly Snyder, of Rolling Prairie, Stacey Van Hook of AZ, and Leigh Long of Porter; 13 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. His wife of 75 years, Ruth, preceded him in death December, 2005. Their son, Leland, and one daughter, Lois Marshall, also preceded him. Howard and Ruth are remembered for their several business endeavors, including the laundromat businesses, the A&W Root Beer stands, and the beautiful caning Howard did for many years.
