John Everrett Plumley April 6, 1943-January 14, 2014 John Everrett Plumley, 70, of Mooresville, North Carolina, died Monday January 14, 2014 at Gordon Hospice House in Mooresville, NC. He was born April 6, 1943 in Atlanta, Michigan, to the late John Robert Plumley and Anne (Sumerix) Plumley. He was a veteran serving in U.S. Army and retired from Walmart. He was a member of Fern Hill Baptist Church in Mooresville, North Carolina. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Norma (McKnight) Plumley; her children, Gene Church and his wife, Vicki; James Church, Carolyn Camie, and six grandchildren; his children, Thomas Plumley and wife, Mary; Michelle Miller, Annie Taylor and husband, Adam; and 12 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Patricia Kent, Sharon Kelso, and brother, Robert "Bob" Plumley. John was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Effie George, brother, Dale Plumley, and half-sister, Lorraine Famularo. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, IN A Graveside Service will be held at the Pine Lake Cemetery, Tuesday January 21, 2014 at 10:00 am with Rev.
