Lorraine Keehn

Mrs. Lorraine E. Keehn, 84, of La Porte, Indiana, died Saturday, November 5, 2011 at Golden Living Center Fountainview in LaPorte. She was born May 23, 1927 in La Porte, Indiana, the daughter of Arthur F. Peting and Lesta (Mills) Peting. Lorraine worked as a injector for Howmet Mfg for twenty-one years, retiring in 1991. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, and the Women Guild of the church. Lorraine enjoyed baking, reading books and enjoyed spending time with her family. On May 16, 1948, in LaPorte, IN, she married Kenneth Keehn who preceded her in death October 1, 1991. She is survived by her daughter - Pamela (Frank) Masterson of La Porte, IN; two sons - Daniel (Vicky) Keehn of La Porte, IN, Gary (Susan) Keehn of LaPorte, IN; - seven grandchildren, and three great grandchildren; two sisters - Shirley Baker of Las Vegas, NV, Barbara Nelson of Griffith, IN, and one brother - Clifford Peting of La Porte, IN. Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one grandaughter, Nicole Masterson, two sisters, Wanda Peting, Phyllis Lynch, two brothers, Earl Peting, Glen Peting. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. where the family will receive friends Monday, November 7, 2011 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm & Tuesday, November 8, 2011 from 12:30 pm, until time of service. Services will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Tuesday November 8, 2011 at 1:30 pm with Rev. Dr. Joseph Loftis officiating. Interment will follow at the Patton Cemetery, LaPorte, Indiana.
