Mae Dunning

Mae Jane Dunning November 30, 1934-April 20, 2017 Mae Jane Dunning, 82, of Knox, Indiana, passed away Thursday April 20, 2017 surrounded by her family. She was born November 30, 1934 in Hackleburg, Alabama, the daughter of Aufa Hudson and Mona (Frederick) Hudson. Mae was a Senior Regent of the Moose Lodge 492 in La Porte, IN. She loved spending time with her friends and family. On September 2, 1950, in Roseland, IN, she married William Dunning who survives. She is also survived by her four sons, Douglas (Connie) Dunning, Danny (Regina) Dunning, Dean (Lori) Dunning, David (Tammy) Dunning; daughter, Debbie (Bob) Doane; 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren. Mae was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, one grandchild, and one great-grandchild. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, IN where the family will receive friends Friday, April 21, 2017, from 9:00 am until time of service. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Friday April 21, 2017 at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at the Swan Lake Memorial Garden, Michigan City, Indiana.
