Mary Freese

Mrs. Mary E. Freese , 91, of La Porte, Indiana, died Tuesday October 18, 2011 at Golden Living Center Fountainview in LaPorte, IN. She was born November 9, 1919 in Springville, Indiana, the daughter of Charles Wiltfong and Lillian (Kimball) Wiltfong. Mary was a member of LaPorte Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed gardening and had love for roses. She also enjoyed cooking, and canning. Mary also ran a home daycare. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. On January 8, 1938, in LaPorte, IN, she married Jesse M. Freese who preceded her in death May 7, 2002. She is survived by her 3 daughters - Donna (Jon) Hall of La Porte, IN, Debbie (Larry) Lain of La Porte, IN, and Darlene Wawok of La Porte, IN; seventeen grandchildren; thirty-five great-grandchildren; nine great great grandchildren; three sisters. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two daughters, four sons and three brothers. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. where the family will receive friends Friday, October 21, 2011 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm & Saturday, October 22, 2011 from 9:00 am, until time of service. Services will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Saturday October 22, 2011 at 10:00 am with Rev. Curtis Southwood officiating.
