Nancy (Russell) Hamende September 7, 1958-February 11, 2015 Nancy (Russell) Hamende, 56, of New Carlisle, Indiana, died Wednesday February 11, 2015 at her home in New Carlisle, IN. She was born September 7, 1958 in La Porte, Indiana, the daughter of George Russell and Evelyn (Grubbs) Russell. Nancy was an avid bingo player, she loved to garden and do yard work. Nancy especially loved spending time with her friends and family. She is survived by her brother, William (Sally) Russell of La Porte, IN; sister, Donna Russell of Indianapolis, IN; four nephews, Jody, Jeff, Jason Melady, and Shane Russell. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, and a nephew, Tobey. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN. There will be no visitation. Cremation will take place. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Donor's Choice.
