Odette Werner

Odette Werner, 85, of La Porte, Indiana, died Sunday, January 6, 2013 at Indiana University Health La Porte Hospital in La Porte, IN. She was born February 27, 1927 in Chateau Le Royal, the daughter of Charles Rubies and Marie (Gaudillot) Rubies. Odette worked as a Waitress for DeMarriet Hotel in Philadelphia, PA. She enjoyed gardening, flea markets, and reading. She married Henry Werner in Fort Worth, TX, who preceded in death. She is survived by her son - Charles Werner of La Porte, IN; 2 daughters - Phyllis Bohner of La Porte, IN, Connie Werner of Fish Lake, IN; 4 Grandchildren - Angie Bohner, Nikki Holloway, Chantall Holloway, Naomi Holloway, Russell Bohner, and David Bohner; 4 Great-Grandchildren - Aurianna Bohner, Lauryn Bohner, Liebe Bohner, and London Bohner; also surviving is one sister living in France. Odette was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one niece - Maria O'Hara, and one nephew - Leo McCue. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN. A life celebration will be held at Patton Cemetery, Friday, January 11, 2013 at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at the Patton Cemetery, LaPorte, Indiana.
