Prentice F. McKenzie August 12, 1926-August 19, 2015 Mr. Prentice F. McKenzie, 89, of La Porte, Indiana, died Wednesday August 19, 2015 at Golden Living Center-Countryside in LaPorte, IN. He was born August 12, 1926 in Rosebud, Missouri. Prentice had worked fifteen years for Milburn Peat. He enjoyed working on everything, he was "Jack of All Trades". Prentice loved to visit with friends and family. He is survived by his four daughters, Jennifer (Mike) McKenzie of La Porte, IN, Gayle McKenzie of MO, Dayle McKenzie of MO, and LaDonna McKenzie of MO; two sons, Ronald McKenzie of MO, and Harold McKenzie of MO; grandchild, Jesse Thompson. Prentice was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN There will be no visitation or a service.
