Raymond Lotter

Mr. Raymond W. Lotter, 93, of La Porte, Indiana, died Saturday October 29, 2011 at Golden Living Center-Countryside in La Porte. He was born May 4, 1918 in La Porte, Indiana, the son of Edward J. Lotter and Hessie L. (Smith) Lotter. Raymond worked as a meat cutter for National Tea Co.and retired from the State Highway Department. He was a member of First Christian Church of LaPorte, and a veteran of the U.S. Army during W.W. II. On November 11, 1949, in La Porte, IN, he married Mary M. Duchossois Young Lotter who survives. He is also survived by his daughter - Vicki Armstrong of La Porte, IN; grandson - William Lewis of Hawaii; sister-in-law - Lana Lotter of La Porte, IN; and many nieces and nephews. Raymond was preceded in death by his sister, Laura Mae Glossenger, and twin brother, Edward R. Lotter. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. Private family services will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Monday October 31, 2011 with Rev. Everett Shattuck officiating.
