Thomas Lee Osber Arthur December 15, 1987 - June 2, 2014 Mr. Thomas Lee Osber Arthur of La Porte, Indiana, died Monday, June 2, 2014. He was born December 15, 1987 in La Porte, Indiana, the son of Thomas Edward Arthur and Nina (Schroeder) Arthur. Tommy had a very big heart and would always be there to lend a hand, if family and friends needed help. He enjoyed spending time with his children and family. Tommy enjoyed playing sports at Boston Middle School, playing football, basketball and other sports. He also loved going camping, fishing, spending time at the South Bend race track and playing video games. He is survived by his son, Thomas "Tom-Tom" Arthur; three daughters, Chloe Arthur, Nevah Arthur, and Raelyn Arthur, all of La Porte, IN; two sisters, Stephanie (Joe) Loop, Trisha Arthur, and half-brother, Matthew Ames, all of La Porte, IN; grandmother, Blanche (Dale) Richardson; girl-friend, Brittney McWherter and her two children, Jeremiah Floyd and Alexis McWherter-Means all of La Porte, IN; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, and cousins by the dozen. Thomas was preceded in death by his father, grandparents, Herman and Carol Arthur, and grandfather, Robert Schroeder. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN where the family will receive friends Monday, June 9, 2014 from 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Monday June 9, 2014 at 6:00 pm. Burial of Ashes will take place at Salem Chapel Cemetery at a later date.
