Virginia Nepsha

Virginia E. Nepsha March 29, 1936-August 31, 2013 Ms. Virginia E. Nepsha , 77, of La Porte, Indiana, died Saturday August 31, 2013 at Brentwood Assisted Living in LaPorte. She was born March 29, 1936 in La Porte, Indiana, the daughter of John Nepsha Jr.and Catherine (Laski) Nepsha. Virginia worked as a Director of Patient Accounts of the Renal Department for Northwestern Memorial Hospital for 33 years. She was a member of Chicago Art Institute, Chicago Pallet and Chisel, and Chicago Museum of Natural History. Virginia was a talented artist who loved painting in oils. She was invited to have a showing at the Chicago Art Institute. She is survived by her 3 sisters - Patricia (Dan) Brachmann of Bolder City, NV, Janice (James) Smith of La Porte, Valerie Nepsha of La Porte; and a brother - John Nepsha III of PA. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Betty Weimen, and a brother, Ron Nespha Sr. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN where the family will receive friends Friday, September 6, 2013 from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm. A life celebration will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery, Saturday September 7, 2013 at 10:00 am with Pastor Jo Ellyn Chadwick officiating.
