Wayne Stayback

Mr. Wayne L. Stayback, 70, of La Porte, Indiana, died Friday, September 30, 2011 at Indiana University Health La Porte Hospital. He was born February 28, 1941 in LaPorte, Indiana, the son of Lewis Stayback and Juanita (Short) Stayback. Wayne worked as a electrician for Suilgan. He was a Veteran of the US Air Force during peacetime. Wayne enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling with his brother and cousin. He is survived by his two sons - Joseph Stayback of La Porte, IN, Jeff (Tracy) Stayback of Rolling Prairie, IN; daughter - Julie (Jeff) Warnke of Rockford, MI; six grandchildren, Matthew, Stephanie, Melaney, Josh, Madison, and Haley, one great-grandchild - Lilliana; one brother - Daniel Stayback of La Porte, IN; two sisters - Diane Kheen of La Porte, IN, and Carol Hoisington of Kingsford Heights, IN. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. There will be no visitation. Cremation will take place.
