Agripina "Ida" Lathrop July 23, 1939-July 9, 2017 Mrs. Agripina "Ida" Lathrop, 77, of Fish Lake, Indiana, passed away Sunday, July 9, 2017 at Golden Living Center Fountainview in LaPorte, Indiana. She was born July 23, 1939 in Laredo, Texas, the daughter of Julian Sandoval and Maria (Sandoval) Sandoval. Ida enjoyed gardening, traveling, reading books, and especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband Ned Lathrop of Fish Lake, IN; four daughters, Lucy (Joseph) Abene of Fish Lake, IN, Margarita Pacheco of Chicago, IL, Sara (Harry) Cain of Michigan City, IN, Carolyn (Michael) Jerger of Chicago, IL; two sons, James (Christine) Pacheco of Chicago, IL, and Anthony Pacheco of Chicago, IL; eight grandchildren, Sean, Jessica, Jeremy, Joseph, Russell, Alex, Matthew, and Nicholas; three great-grandchildren, Charles, Thomas, and Elizabeth; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Louis Markin. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, IN where the family will receive friends Thursday, July 13, 2017, from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Thursday, July 13, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. with Deacon Frank Zolvinski officiating.
