Colleen Fay Schroeder December 23, 1928-November 14, 2017 Colleen Fay Schroeder, 88, of Rochester, New York, formerly of La Porte passed away Tuesday November 14, 2017 at the Rochester Friendly Nursing Home. She was born December 23, 1928 in La Porte, Indiana, the daughter of George Heusi and Verlie (Steger) Heusi. On June 22, 1947, in La Porte, IN, she married Frederick W. Schroeder who preceded in death March 13, 2011. She is survived by her two sons, Michael (Betsy) Schroeder of West Webster, NY, Timothy (Ann) Schroeder of Rochester, NY; 5 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and a sister, Susan (Bob) Kruger of La Porte. Colleen was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Frank, three sisters, Joyce, Barbara and Georgene. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN where the family will receive friends Monday Nov. 20, 2017 from 10:00 AM until time of the service. A life celebration will be held at the Haverstock Funeral Home Monday Nov. 20, 2017 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Carl Galloway officiating. Interment will follow at the Patton Cemetery, LaPorte, Indiana.
