Richard Schaible

Richard I. Schaible May 6, 1927-April 1, 2018 Richard "Tricky Dick" "Barney" Schaible , 90, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away Sunday April 1, 2018 at his home in La Porte, IN. He was born May 6, 1927 in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Walter Schaible and Hazel L.(Brown) Schaible . Richard never met a stranger, he enjoyed camping and the camaraderie of other campers around him. On May 20, 1965, in LaPorte, he married Helen (Ott) Schaible who survives. He is also survived by his son, Willy (Karen) Schaible of La Porte, IN; two daughters, Hazel (Mike) McManus of Greenwood, IN, Frances Ann (Steven) Lesher of Rio Rancho, NM; eight grandchildren, Alexa, Dominic, Kimberly, Benjamin, Terry, Angela, Kristine, Stefanie; and ten great-grandchildren, Caitlin, Cameron, Kylie, Kaden, Jason, Cameryn, Lucas, William, Owen, and Jayda,. Richard was preceded in death by his son, Ivan Richard Schaible, parents, six brothers, and eight sisters.
