Andrew Paul Straka

Andrew Paul Straka, Jr., age 73, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2026. He was born on November 11, 1952, in Gary, Indiana.

Andrew was known for his sense of humor, love of joking around, and ability to make people laugh. He enjoyed having fun and brought smiles to those around him throughout his life.

He is survived by his son, Adam Andrew Straka; daughter-in-law, Jolene Straka; and his three beloved grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Bernie Straka; sisters, Barbara Culp and Frances Joan Flahardy; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Andrew was preceded in death by his daughter, Eva Marie Straka; his father, Andrew Paul Straka; and his mother, Josephine Ann Nallinger.

Andrew will be remembered for his playful spirit, kind heart, and the memories he created with family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
