May 13, 1949-May 7, 2024
Ardona Kay Schultz, 74, of Plymouth, Indiana, formerly from Kingsford Heights, Indiana, entered eternal life, Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at Miller's Merry Manor in Walkerton, IN.
She was born May 13, 1949 in Anderson, Indiana, the daughter of William King and Dorothy (Ellis) King.
On June 11, 1983, in La Porte, IN, she married the love of her life, Ronald K. Schultz, who preceded her in death on May 6, 2014. Ardona was always a hard-working woman and she pursued a career as an administrative assistant and safety trainer at Dwyer Instruments, retiring on October 1, 2013. She had a strong faith in the Lord and exhibited it in her everyday life. Ardona enjoyed creating beautiful ceramic pieces and had a large collection of elephant figurines. She also enjoyed playing Mahjong with her group of friends. Her family, though, was her passion and she loved them more than life itself. Her best time spent was with her beloved grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all.
Ardona is survived by her daughter, Donna Kay (Skip) Erickson of Walkerton, IN; son, Terry (Shelly) Ralston of Lake Station, IN; two brothers, Terry (Cindy) King of Chanute, KS, Dale King of Chanute, KS; five grandchildren, Emilee Marzean, Jordan Erickson, Maggie Ralston, Brianna Ralston, Ellie Ralston; great-grandchild, Theo Fuentes, and several nieces and nephews.
Along with her husband of 32 years, Ardona was preceded in death by her parents; brothers William R King, Jr., David T. King, Richard C. King, and Gerald D. King.
