June 15, 1937-August 11, 2025

Beverly McCulloch, a beloved matriarch and cherished friend, passed away on August 11, 2025, at The Brickyard of La Porte. She was born on June 15, 1937, in Alburnette, Iowa, and spent her life creating lasting memories with her loved ones, enriching the lives of everyone she encountered through her warmth and caring nature.

Beverly dedicated 25 years of her life to her career as a clerk at Hallmark before retiring, exemplifying her commitment to her work and the many people she served. Throughout her life, she remained passionate about learning and personal growth, proudly graduating from high school and continually engaging with the world around her.

Beverly’s life was marked by her loving marriage to Robert McCulloch, the love of her life, whom she wed on October 30, 1955, in Oakaloosa, Iowa. Their union was a testament to the deep love and partnership they shared, which endured through the years until Robert's passing. Together, they built a home filled with kindness, love, and devotion to family.

As a mother, Beverly raised her children with immense love and affection. She is survived by her daughter, Megan McCulloch, sons, Jeffrey (Carol) McCulloch and James McCulloch. Beverly took great pride in her role as a grandmother to Nicholas McCulloch and as a great-grandmother to Dalynne and Aviana, creating joyful moments for them that will be cherished forever.

Beyond her family ties, Beverly held dear the connections she forged with her siblings: Wayne (Margaret) Witt, Linda (Jerry-deceased) Shipley, and Esther (Larry) Churchill. She will be remembered not only for her nurturing spirit but also for her hobbies and passions. A lover of travel, Beverly frequently visited her family in Iowa, and her garden flourished under her attentive care. An avid reader, she found solace and enjoyment in literature, while her cooking and baking became a highlight of family gatherings, particularly her famous peanut brittle.

Beverly McCulloch leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and community spirit. Her caring demeanor touched the hearts of all who knew her, and her memory will forever be etched in the lives of her family and friends. She will be profoundly missed but lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
