Bonnie K. Seeley, a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away peacefully on June 29, 2025, at the age of 85.

Bonnie was the beloved wife of the late James H. Seeley, with whom she shared 34 years of marriage until his passing in 1994. Together, they raised seven children; Jim, Kevon, Kim, Matt, Amie, Michael, and Angel. Bonnie's legacy continues through her 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, all of whom were deeply loved and brought her immense joy.

Born on May 19, 1940, Bonnie was the daughter of Bessie and John Pedue Sr. She was preceded in death by her parents and her three brothers-Roger, John Jr., and Lynn.

As a child, Bonnie attended the Indiana School for the Blind in Indianapolis, where she developed her talents as a pianist and proudly served as a cheerleader during her high school years. Her strength, spirit, and determination were evident from a young age.

Bonnie dedicated much of her life to caring for others. She was especially known for her work as a foster parent with the Indiana Department of Child Services, where she provided a loving and nurturing home to countless children over the years. Her compassion and unwavering commitment to care giving left a lasting impact on many lives.

A pillar of love and support, Bonnie was always there for her family, friends, and neighbors. Her warmth, kindness, and generosity will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Bonnie's life was a testament to the power of love, resilience, and service. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, IN. The family has chosen cremation.
