Bradley Emerick

Mr. Bradley A. Emerick, age 56, of La Porte, Ind., died 9:30 AM Sunday, December 10, 2006, at his residence in La Porte, Ind. He was born April 24, 1950 in LaPorte, Ind. to Harold Emerick and Rilla Rosenbaum Emerick. Mr. Emerick was employed as a machinist by Aero Metals and was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church. He was a White Sox & Chicago Bears fan; he loved his family, children, grandson Bryce and his dog Annie. He was a member of Hanna American Legion Post 472 for 25 years and a Veteran of US Army during Vietnam. On May 19, 1972 in LaPorte, Ind. he married Rosemarie Wawok who survives. He is also survived by Two Sons, Mr. Brian Peggy Emerick of Union Mills, Ind., Mr. Kenneth Emerick of Hanna, Ind.; One Grandchild Bryce Emerick of Union Mills, Ind.; and One Sister, Mrs. Vera Shepherd of Wanatah, Ind. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, December 13, 2006. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 11:00 AM Thursday, December 14, 2006, Rev. Dennis Meyer officiating. Military Honors will be conducted by the LaPorte American Legion Post #83 and VFW Post #1130. Memorial contributions may be made to the family of Bradley A. Emerick.
