Charles Eskridge

Mr. Charles E. Eskridge, age 74, of La Porte, Ind., died 5:30 AM Friday, September 7, 2007, at Beverly Living Center-LaPorte in La Porte, Ind. He was born June 30, 1933 in LaPorte, Ind. to the late Clarence Eskridge and the late Margaret McCormick Eskridge. He has live all of his life in the LaPorte area. Mr. Eskridge was employed by American Home Foods and was a member of Christ Gospel Church. He was very active with his church. He is survived by his Daughter, Linda Dennis Weller of Bald Knob, Ark.; Two Sons, Bruce Eskridge of Gary, Ind., Tony Eskridge of Texas; Three grandchildren; One Sister-in-law-Mrs. Sharon Eskridge of La Porte, Ind. and One Brother, Gene Eskridge of LaPorte, Ind. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Tuesday, September 11, 2007. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 1:00 PM Tuesday, September 11, 2007, Pastor Ricky Bray officiating. Interment will be at Patton Cemetery in La Porte, Ind.
