Albert David Wilson Sr.

November 15, 1936-December 23, 2021

Albert David Wilson, 85, of Mill Creek, Indiana, passed away Thursday, December 23, 2021, at his home.

He was born in La Porte, Indiana to John N. and Louise (Stoner) Wilson.

On July 16, 1955 he married his best friend and the love of his life, Dorothy J. (Spriggs) Wilson in Crumstown, North Liberty, Indiana.

Albert lived on the same farm and in the same house all of his life. He loved working in the woods and most of all he loved working the farmland with his wife and family. He took pride in everything he did, especially farming and raising cattle. But most of all he loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed.

David and Dorothy were blessed with three wonderful sons, John N. and Albert D. Wilson (fiancée, Lisa) of Mill Creek, IN and David D. Wilson of Mishawaka, IN; two lovely daughters, Wanda L. Dutcher of Valparaiso, IN and Kathy Sue Wilson( deceased); four grandsons, John N., Joshua L. and Kurt A. Wilson (deceased) and Frank Dutcher; one granddaughter, Brenda Dutcher; several great - grandchildren, Cyprus B, Trista L, Katrina M. and Noah Lee Wilson, Ashely L., Shantell L. and Jonathan Davis and one  great - great granddaughter. He is also survived by two sisters, Betty J. Hooten of Mill Creek and Nancy Ashcraft of Indianapolis, several nephews and one niece. He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, a daughter, grandsons and sister.

The family would like to thank Lisa Beatty for all her loving kindness and her expertise as a Registered Nurse, helping their parents in their later years

Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 9:00 Wednesday, December 29, 2021, and from noon until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 30, 2021 at the funeral home, with The Reverend Dennis Spriggs, officiating.  Interment will follow at the Sauktown Cemetery, Mill Creek, Indiana.
