Diana S. Clough, 92, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away Friday, May 16, 2025 at her home, under the care of Dunes Hospice.

She was born September 13, 1932 in La Porte, Indiana, the daughter of Harry G Lingus and Florence Rycewicz Lingus.

A lifelong resident of the area, Diana graduated from St. Mary's High School and on October 6, 1951, in Michigan City, IN, she married Robert Clough, who preceded her in death March 2, 2017. She was also preceded in death by her parents, her brother Ronald Lingus and grandchild Daniel Clough.

Diana's career as a secretary found her working for 5 years at Joy MFG and for 8 years at Queen of All Saints Church, where she also was a cook. She was a member of Holy Family Parish and attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church, La Porte. Diana was also a lifetime member of the VFW Post 1130. She had a variety of interests, including crocheting, puzzles, ice skating, roller skating, bingo and playing cards. She loved music and dancing, especially the polka. Diana would rather be outdoors than anywhere and proudly rode her horses in parades in town. Her love of animals extended to her beloved dog, Josie. People, and especially her family, were her passion, and she celebrated them daily.

She will be greatly missed by her surviving relatives, including her three sons, Steven H. (Darla) Clough of Highland Village, TX, Wayne W. (Tina) Clough of La Porte, IN and AR, John R. (Rose) Clough of Noblesville, IN; six grandchildren, Krystal Clough, Jessica (Todd) Redman, Andrew (Stephanie Bilderback) Clough, Blake (Sydney) Clough, Ben Clough, Alyson (Russell Milligan) Clough; niece, Susie Clough; great-grandchildren, Kendyl, Caleb and Kiera, and friend, Ann Burdine.

Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN where the family will receive friends for a viewing on Friday, May 23, 2025 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., with a rosary at 6:30. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, on Saturday, May 24 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Pine Lake Cemetery, La Porte, IN.
