Dianna "Toodge" Reynolds

December 13, 1941-August 30, 2025

Dianna "Toodge" Reynolds, a cherished woman known for her loving and caring spirit, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2025, at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, Indiana. Born on December 13, 1941, in La Porte, Indiana, Dianna's journey through life was marked by her deep love for family and her numerous talents.

For many years, Dianna dedicated herself as a core worker at Accurate Casting, where her hard work and loyalty were appreciated by her colleagues. Beyond her professional endeavors, she cultivated a rich tapestry of hobbies and interests. An avid crocheter and seamstress, Dianna found joy in crafting things with her hands. She was an enthusiastic gardener, nurturing her love for flowers, and expressed herself delightfully through baking, creating delicious homemade noodles, Mississippi mud desserts, zucchini bread, a variety of pies and she loved snacking on treats. Her home was always filled with the comforting aroma of good food, made especially for her family.

Dianna had a spirited side; she loved to play pool and was a devoted fan of the Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs. She found pleasure in solving puzzles, watching John Wayne and her beloved show General Hospital, and listening to country and western music. Christmas time held a special magic for her, filled with joyous celebrations and memories. An endearing quirk of Dianna’s was her playful competitiveness while playing card games and dominos; if you did not play in such a way that was to her advantage, you got slapped! She had a great love for animals; birds and she especially loved hummingbirds.

She leaves behind her beloved family, including her daughter, Annette (Jim) Pearish, and her bonus son, Tom Hough. Dianna's legacy continues through her grandchildren: Johnathon (Trisha) Miser, Crystal Morton, and Courtney (Jonathon Stevens), along with her treasured great-grandchildren-Brianna, Alexis, Haley, Kira, Savannah, Colin, Cole, Wyatt, Cameron, Heaven, and Aryanna. Her family also includes bonus grandchildren James (Alicia) Pearish II, Alicia (Joshua Sanchez) Pearish, Joshua (Morgan) Pearish, and Nita (Mike) Hackleman, as well as her bonus great-grandchildren Brennen, Autum, James III, Amiah, Easton, and Madylin, alongside another precious one on the way.

Dianna is preceded in death by her husband Roland (Ron) Reynolds; parents, Lloyd Landes and Josie Landes, alongside her siblings: brothers Floyd Landes and Raymond Landes, and sisters Opal Pearish and Mae Biege.

Her visitation will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home 602 Maple Ave, in La Porte, (219) 362-3333, on September 2, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 6:00 PM, with Pastor Jospeh Watterson officiating. Cremation to take place..

Dianna "Toodge" Reynolds will be remembered for the joy she brought into the lives of those who knew her. Her heart, which was as expansive as her culinary creations, will be missed deeply by her family and friends.
