Donna Hasty

Mrs. Donna S. Ward Hasty, age 48, of South Bend, Ind., died 3:00 PM Tuesday, August 28, 2007, at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, Ind. She was born October 20, 1958 in South Bend, Ind. to the late Henry Ward and Delores Butler Ward. She has lived most of her life in the New Carlisle area. She was a member of Sauktown Church of Christ. During her illness she enjoyed the many visits of Brother Ken Wilkins of Deer Run Church of Christ. She was a thoughtful and loving person to many people; she had a special place in her heart for her many nieces and nephews. She enjoyed Cooking, sewing and crafts. On August 9, 1996 in the Sauktown Church of Christ she married Robert Hasty who survives. She is also survived by her mother Delores Ward of New Carlisle, Ind.; Two Sisters, Mrs. Laurel Kublick of New Carlisle, Ind., Mrs. Thelma Larry Truex of New Carlisle, Ind.; Two Brothers, Mr. Myron Ward, Sr. of New Carlisle, Ind., Mr. Robin Debbie Ward of Niles, Mich.; 9 Nieces and Nephews; and 13 Great Nieces and Nephews. She is preceded in death by her Father and one Niece Lori Lynn Kublick. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. The family will receive friends at Sauktown Church of Christ from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM Thursday, August 30, 2007. Funeral service will be at Sauktown Church of Christ at 11:00 AM Thursday, August 30, 2007, Brother Howard Simmons officiating. Interment will be at Sauktown Cemetery in Mill Creek, Ind.
