Edna Tarnow

Mrs. Edna C. Tarnow, 92 of 3037 Tamarack Elkhart, Indiana died Tuesday, October 12, 2004 at her home. She was born on November 11, 1911 to Henry and Eva Mae Harness Norman in Starke Co., IN who has preceded. Mrs. Tarnow lived in the Elkhart area for three years, coming from Ocala, Florida. Mrs. Tarnow worked for Hospice, while in Ocala, Florida for several years and a volunteer at the hospital in Ocala, FL. On August 27, 1927 she was married to Herbert C. Tarnow in LaPorte, IN who preceded April 9, 1982. Also preceded in death are five sons, James, Gordon, Floyd, Herbert, Kenneth Tarnow, a brother Ralph Norman and a daughter Luella Salisbury. Surviving is a daughter Mrs. Nancy Charles Traflet of LaPorte, IN a daughter Mrs. Barbara Zeedyk of South Bend, IN a son Mr. Gerald Rose Tarnow of Ocala, FL a son Mr. Harold Norma Tarnow of LaPorte, IN a son Mr. Ward Tarnow of LaPorte, IN. Mr. Tarnow was a member of the Abiding Hope Lutheran Church in Ocala, Florida and she enjoyed cooking and sewing. The Funeral will be Friday October 15, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Haverstock Funeral Home. Friends may call Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.and from 9:00 a.m. on Friday until time of service.
