Esther Rahfeldt

Mrs. Esther J. Lindahl Rahfeldt, age 91, of South Bend, Ind., died Friday, January 12, 2007, at Milton Home in South Bend, Ind. She was born October 23, 1915, in LaPorte, Co., IN, to the late Hazel Lindahl and the late Emma Heiden Lindahl. Mrs. Rahfeldt was employed by NIPSCO and was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church. She was also a member of Ladies Aide at Bethany Lutheran Church and Swanson Center - Older Adults Member. . She is also survived by her One Daughter, Mrs. Jeannette E. Charles Rose of South Bend, Ind. One Son, Mr. Roger D. Carole Rahfeldt, of Demotte, IN. She has seven grandchildren, and Seventeen great-grandchildren Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM Tuesday, January 16, 2007, and from 9:00AM Wednesday January 17, 2007 until time of service. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 17, 2007, with Rev. Dennis Meyer officiating. Interment will be at Door Village Cemetery in La Porte, Ind.
