Helen Klinefelter

Mrs. Helen L. Klinefelter, 75, of LaPorte, Indiana, passed away at home Wednesday April 7, 2004 at 3:10 a.m.. She had lived in the LaPorte area since 1952 coming from Gary, Indiana. Mrs. Klinefelter was born April 3, 1929, to Ernest and Helen Longshore McGown, in Gary, Indiana. On September 9, 1950, in Gary, Indiana, she married Robert Klinefelter who preceded in death August 22, 2000. She had worked for Teledyne Casting Service, as Human Resource manager for 27 years, retiring in 1994. Also preceded in death with her husband were parents, and one brother; William McGown. She is survived by two daughters; Susan K. Henriott of LaPorte, and Patricia A. John Galloway of Hebron, Indiana, one son; Robert Claudia Klinefelter of Thorntown, Indiana, one sister; Betty Hatton of LaHabra, California, four granddaughters; Heather Ron Heeg, Dawn Henriott, both of LaPorte, Megan Klinefelter of Thorntown, Indiana and Stephanie Galloway of Hebron, Indiana, three grandsons; Kenneth W. Amy Henriott of LaPorte, Rob Corrie Klinefelter of Indianapolis, Indiana, Kyle Galloway of Hebron, Indiana, two great grandchildren; Haley Eriks and Taylor Liverman both of LaPorte. Services will be Saturday April 10, 2004 at the Haverstock Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Dana Brown officiating. Friends may call Friday, April 9, 2004 at the Haverstock Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be in the Pine Lake Cemetery of LaPorte.
