Helen Topitges

Mrs. Helen S. Topitges, 78, of LaPorte, Indiana passed away Saturday April 24, 2004 at LaPorte Hospital. She had been an area resident for 57 years coming from Athens, Greece. Mrs. Topitges was born October 12, 1925, in Athens Greece to Anthanasios and Olga Bobotis Skouras, who preceded. On February 22, 1948 in Chicago, Illinois she married Rev. George J. Topitges, who survives She was a homemaker and a member of the LaPorte Ladies Grecian Club. Surviving with her husband are one daughter; Olga Topitges of Oak Park, Illinois, one son; James Topitges of LaPorte, one brother; Vasilios Skouras of Inverness, Illinois. Services will be Tuesday April 27, 2004 at the Haverstock Funeral Home, with Father James Skouras officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday April 26, 2004 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday from 8a.m. until time of service.
