Henry Combs, 86, of La Porte, Indiana, passed May 9, 2022 at home.
He was born March 28, 1936 in Knott Co., Kentucky, the son of Roosevelt and Grace (Francis) Combs.
He enjoyed working on computers, woodworking, gardening and bird watching.
He is survived by his two daughters, Dawn (Michael) Lemberis, Debra (Stephen) Meegan; two sons, Peter J. (Gayle) Hill, Brian P. (Shelly) Hill; eight grandchildren, Steve, Elysia, Robert, Austin, Andrew, Courtney, Seth, Sydney; five great-grandchildren, Stevie, Madison, Emma, Boston, and Landon; sister Venna and a brother Utah.
Henry was preceded in death by both his parents, wife Shirley, daughter Diane, and his sister Eula.
Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN where the family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00am., Thursday, May 26, 2022. A Life Celebration will follow at 11:00am with Rev Steve Galloway officiating.
