Janet Ann Brady

August 1, 1969 — March 15, 2026

Sawyer, MI

Janet Ann (Euler) Brady, a woman remembered for her gentle spirit, compassionate heart, and radiant presence, passed away Sunday, March 15 in St. Joseph, Michigan leaving behind a legacy of kindness and care that touched all who knew her. She was born on August 1, 1969, in LaPorte, Indiana, to the late Herbert L. Euler and Delilah A. (Sholly) Euler.

Janet devoted her life to love, family, and caring for others. On August 23, 1986, she married the love of her life, Jeffrey Brady. Together they shared many years of devotion, adventure, and cherished memories until his passing in 2022. Their bond was one rooted deeply in friendship and love, and Janet carried those memories close to her heart.

She graduated from LaPorte High School in 1988 and went on to live a life defined by compassion and generosity. Family and friends describe Janet as a loving and kind mother to her children, Sarah and Troy. She was truly a ray of sunshine—someone who brought warmth wherever she went. Known for her beautiful green eyes and her gentle demeanor, Janet had a rare ability to make people feel seen, valued, and cared for. It was often said that she never spoke an unkind word about anyone.

Janet was a natural caregiver, a role that perfectly suited her heart. In her most recent position as Activities Director at Woodland Terrace, she found great joy in planning activities and special moments for residents, always striving to brighten their days and bring smiles to their faces. Her kindness, creativity, and enthusiasm made her deeply loved by both residents and coworkers alike.

An adventurous spirit, Janet enjoyed traveling and exploring the country. She proudly visited all fifty states, often experiencing those journeys on the back of her late husband’s Harley-Davidson, embracing the open road and the memories they created together. She also loved spending time along the lakeshore, walking the beach at sunset while searching for shells and pieces of beach glass.

In quieter moments, Janet expressed her creativity through crafting. She especially loved making projects with her Cricut machine, dedicating countless hours to creating thoughtful and beautiful items for family and friends. She was also a devoted animal lover and shared her life with many beloved pets over the years, each of whom held a special place in her heart.

Janet was a proud member of the PRCU in LaPorte and remained deeply connected to her community and the people she loved.

Above all else, Janet will be remembered as the consummate caregiver—someone whose life was devoted to nurturing others, offering comfort, and spreading kindness wherever she went.

She is survived by her beloved children, Sarah Holmes (Bradford) and Troy Brady (Jaqueline); her sister, Karen Euler Reif (Lewis); nephews, Brandon Euler, Dakota Euler, and Nicolas Reif; niece, Kathryn Aguilar (Antonio); and her companion, John Lemons. She is also remembered fondly by extended family and many dear friends.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jeffrey Brady; and her brother, Steven Euler.
