Jay D. Nelson February 10, 1942-May 1, 2018 Jay D. Nelson, 76, of Walkerton, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at Millers Merry Manor, Walkerton, Indiana. He was born February 10, 1942 in North Liberty, Indiana, the son of Melvin Nelson and Lolita (Wolff) Nelson. He is survived by his nephew, Kalvin Morrison of La Porte, Indiana. Jay was preceded in death by both his parents. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, Indiana. There will be no visitation or service. A life celebration will be held at a later date. Interment will follow at the North Liberty Cemetery.
