Jeffrey West, 37, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away Wednesday December 14, 2022 in La Porte, IN, surrounded by his family.

He was born May 10, 1985 in La Porte, Indiana, the son of Bart West and Mary (LaBere) West.

Jeff was a fun-loving prankster who enjoyed music especially classic rock and country and  self-taught himself the guitar from an early age. He loved his nieces and nephews and would hang out with them whenever he could.  He was also very close to his grandmother Ruth Lamb and spent a lot of time with her.

He is survived by his four brothers, Joshua West, Jared (Matthew) West, Ben (Jessye) Murphy, Jeremy West; two sisters, Jennifer (Andy) West, Julie West; nephews, Bradley, Cody (Allison), Zack, Tyler (Angela),Lucas; neices, Danielle (Jarius), Haylee (Hunter); great nieces and nephews, Kylee, Jacob, Noah, Braxton.

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his father Bart West, paternal grandparents, Hobert and Mary West, and maternal grandfathers, Richard LaBere and William Lamb.

Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN where the family will receive friends Sunday, December 18, 2022, 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm.  A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Sunday December 18, 2022 at 2:00 pm.
