Jesse J. Edwards October 22, 1940-March 21, 2018 Jesse J. Edwards, 77, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at in La Porte, Indiana. He was born October 22, 1940 in Birmingham, Alabama, the son of Robert Lee Cash and Gussie (Townsend) Cash. Jesse enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his son, Jessie Allen Cash of Walkerton, IN; two daughters, Tina Russell of Kingsford Heights, IN, Chiffon Edwards of Kingsford Heights, IN; two Grandchildren, Briene A. Henderson, Java' Russell; sister, Patricia (Leroy) Shark of La Porte, IN; brother, Chester Smith of CA; neice, Ashante Bledsoe of Michigan City, IN; nephew, Airrence Shark of La Porte, IN; host of cousins, family, and friends. Jesse was preceded in death by both his parents and his daughter, Leslie Cash. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, Indiana where the family will receive friends Saturday, March 31, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. A life celebration will be held Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev.
