Jessica Foster, from Cedar Lake, IN born on March 14, 1995, in Munster, IN, passed away unexpectedly on July 25, 2025, in La Porte, IN. A remarkable individual, Jessica's life is remembered not only for her achievements but also for her incredible spirit and the joy she brought to those around her.

Jessica held the title of a “Certified Nursing Assistant,” a role she embraced with passion, working diligently alongside doctors and nurses to provide compassionate care to her patients. Her dedication to helping others was evident in every interaction, reflecting her nurturing soul and commitment to making a difference in the lives of those she served.

An adventurous spirit, Jessica found immense happiness at the beach, which she regarded as her favorite place. Her enthusiasm for life was contagious, and she excelled in her studies, consistently achieving “A” grades. In addition to her academic success, she showcased her artistic talents through her skill in playing the violin, leaving a lasting impression on those lucky enough to hear her play.

Jessica's memories will forever be cherished by her daughter, Aurora Nova Kay Gensel, who was the light of her life. She is also lovingly remembered by her father, Joseph L. Foster (Tracie Pieper); sister, Sarah Foster; half-sister Cyrstal Boyer; grandparents, Joseph and Yvonne Foster; grandpa, Ken Malsch; her mother, Sue Foster, predeceased her, as well as her grandmother Marian Malsch, leaving a legacy of love that Jessica carried with her throughout her life.

As we remember Jessica, we celebrate the vibrant life she lived, the hearts she touched, and the love she shared with her family and friends. Her spirit will continue to inspire all those who knew her.

Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, IN 46350. A life celebration will be held at a later date. The family has chosen cremation.
