Joan Ren

Mrs. Joan M. Skinner Ren, age 78, of La Porte, Ind., died Tuesday, January 16, 2007, at LaPorte Hospital in La Porte, Ind. She was born May 21, 1928 in LaPorte, Ind. to the late Earl Skinner and the late Irene McCormick Skinner. She has lived in the LaPorte area all of her life. Mrs. Ren was a homemaker. She loved her family and enjoyed life. She is survived by her husband Mr. Verl Ren; One Son, Mr. James George Keller of La Porte, Ind.; and One Sister, Mrs. Twila Sullivan of Indianapolis, Ind. She is preceded in death by her Parents; Two Brothers, Earl Skinner and George Skinner; Four Sisters, Norma Skinner, Gale Brokowski, June Wilson, and Betty Schroeder. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, January 19, 2007. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 10:30 AM Saturday, January 20, 2007, Pastor Jack M. Cox officiating.
