Judith Jones

Mrs. Judith A. Jones, age 67, of La Porte, Ind., died 4:45 PM Sunday, May 13, 2007, at Her Residence in La Porte, Ind. She was born February 2, 1940 in Fairmont WV to the late John Boone and the late Lena Richards Boone. She has lived in the LaPorte area for 17 years coming from Venice, Florida. She was a chef at All-Side Aluminum in Cuyahoga, Ohio and for Goodyear Tire and Rubber in Akron, Ohio. She was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints. She was also a member of Akron, Ohio Chef's Association, American Culinary Federation, and Secretary for Quota Club in Fairmont, West Virginia. She loved cooking & spending time with friends and family, she loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. On July 6, 1973 she married Guy S. Jones who survives. She is also survived by her Five Daughters, Deborah Stolfo of Akron, Ohio, Lena Lockhart of Columbus, Ohio, Patricia Lockhart of Lyons, Ind., Judith Lockhart of Appleton, Wis., Meredith Domnitz of La Porte, Ind.; One Son, William F. Debbie Lockhart, Jr. of Portage, Ind.; Three Sisters, Barbara Glen Muth of Uniontown, Ohio, Rosemary Parsons of Akron, Ohio, Susie Leon Ramey of Clemmons, N.C.; One Brother, David Norris; Eleven grandchildren; Five great-grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, May 18, 2007. Funeral service will be at Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 19, 2007, President Bruce Lee Reyes and Mr. Roy McNeal, Celebrant, officiating.
