Kevin Alan Pierce, born on January 22,1963, in Valparaiso, Indiana, touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him. With a gentle spirit and unwavering kindness, he was truly the kind of person everyone seemed to like. He dedicated his life to helping others, constantly lending a hand and spreading joy in every community he embraced.
Kevin proudly served in the Navy, where his commitment to service began and blossomed into a lifelong desire to contribute positively to those around him. After his military service, his indomitable spirit shone remarkably bright as he pushed his wheelchair throughout downtown La Porte. He could often be seen with his pinchers, diligently picking up trash and leaving the world a little cleaner and more beautiful, all while wearing a warm smile that illuminated his passion for making a difference.
He will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by his brother, Robert Pierce, who cherished their bond and the memories they created together. Kevin is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Robert Sr. and Karen Sue, whose love and guidance shaped him into the compassionate man many have come to admire.
Though he is no longer with us, the legacy Kevin leaves behind is one of advocacy, generosity, and unwavering kindness. His life is a poignant reminder to all of us that no act of kindness is ever too small and that the true measure of a person lies in their impact on the lives of others. Kevin Alan Pierce's spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those he touched.
