Lew Derucki

Mr. Lew W. Derucki, age 54, of Rolling Prairie, Ind., died 10:24 PM Wednesday, July 4, 2007, at LaPorte Hospital in La Porte, Ind. He was born August 19, 1952 in Chicago, ILL. to late Aloysius Derucki and the late Shirley Signs Derucki. He was a Motorcycle and Jeep enthusiast. He loved to repair anything broken. He was an avid dog lover. Lew had worked alongside his son Eric in founding E.L.D. Construction Co. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Penny Pumroy Derucki; One Daughter, Mrs. Lisa Michael Lagodney of South Bend, Ind.; One Son, Son-Mr. Eric Ashley Derucki of Rolling Prairie, Ind.; One Brother, Mr. Tom Evonne Derucki of Mammoth Cave, Ky. He is preceded in death by his parents and One Brother Joe Derucki. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, July 6, 2007and from 11:00 AM Saturday until time of the service. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 1:00 PM Saturday, July 7, 2007, Rev. David Tripp officiating.
