Lorel Rameier

Mrs. Lorel K. Rameier, age 56, of La Porte, Ind., died 12:03 AM Saturday, May 12, 2007, at LaPorte Hospital in La Porte, Ind. She was born September 21, 1950 in LaPorte, Ind. to the late Kenneth Tieman and the late Lois Jahnke Tieman. She lived all of her life in the LaPorte area. Mrs. Rameier was employed by LaPorte County Clerk Office for 9 years and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She was an avid Bowler; she loved to knit, counted cross stitch, and crochet. She loved reading doing cross word puzzles and playing games on her computer. She loved her family and cherished her granddaughter Ashley. She was a generous person always giving to others even to the very end, she was an organ donor. On June 14, 1969 in LaPorte, Ind. she married Rodger Rameier who survives. She is also survived by her Daughter, Mrs. Jennifer Brian Sardeson of La Porte, Ind.; Granddaughter, Ashley Sardeson of LaPorte, Ind.; Sister, Mrs. Kathy Hay of La Porte, Ind.; Brother, Mr. Lee Tieman of Palm Harbor, Fla.; an Aunt; Nieces and Nephews; Great Nieces and Nephews; and cousins. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, May 15, 2007 and Wednesday from 10:00 AM until time of the service. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 16, 2007, Rev. Joseph Loftis officiating. Interment will be at Pine Lake Cemetery in La Porte, Ind.
