Margaret Hamlin

Mrs. Margaret J.Hamlin, 83, of 1103 W. 10th Street LaPorte, died Monday September 27, 2004 at 11:17 P.M. at LaPorte Hospital, LaPorte, IN. She was born June 6, 1921 in Springfield Twp, IN to Frank and Anna Manlove Wheatbrook who have preceded and lived all of her life in the LaPorte area. Mrs. Hamlin worked at Montgomery Wards in Mail Orders and known as the world?s best mom. On November 8, 1941 in Mississippi she married Clifford Hamlin who has preceded, also preceded in death are two sisters. Two brothers, two half- sisters and four- half- brothers. Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Claudia Donn Weiler of LaPorte, IN. One son Mr. Marshall Hamlin of Michigan City, IN. A Sister Mrs. Darlene O?Dell of Cape Coral, FL. And four Grandson?s, Eric Weiler, Luke Hamlin, Zachrey Hamlin and Jacob Hamlin. Mrs. Hamlin was a Member of the LaPorte First United Methodist Church. A Memorial Service will be held at the LaPorte First United Methodist Church on Sunday October 3, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. There will be no visitation, Burial of Ashes in Rolling Prairie Cemetery, Rolling Prairie.
