Mrs. Margaret M.Peggy Moylan, 81, of 800 Michigan Ave., LaPorte, Ind. died Tuesday May 4, 2004, at 2:20 a.m. at the LaPorte Hospital. She was born February 17, 1923, in South Deerfield Mass., to Michael Thomas & Hannah O?Connor Doolan, and has lived in the LaPorte area, since 1960, coming from Greenfield, Mass. Mrs. Moylan retired from American Home Foods in 1983 after 22 years of service. After retirement she worked part-time for an additional 8 years at E.V. Controls. She graduated from Deerfield, Mass. in 1940. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, a past president of the union at American Home Foods from 1969 to 1972, and a past member of the LaPorte City Zoning Board. On September 6, 1943, in South Deerfield, Mass., she married John F. Moylan, who preceded her in death February 7, 1987. The center of her life was her family. She was a wonderful, inspirational example as a wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. But the memories of the angel that brought us into this world, and turned us into the people who we are, will full our hearts and minds with the true meaning of life, ?Happiness?. She will be missed by her seven children, Patrick Moylan of Columbia, SC., Daniel Moylan of St. Louis, MO., Annemarie Polan of LaPorte, IN., John Peggy Moylan Jr. of LaPorte, IN., Marita Moylan of LaPorte, IN., Margaret "Meg" Rick Heninger of LaPorte, IN., Gregg Karen Moylan of Livingston, TX.; nineteen grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and one sister, Anna Quirk of New Cannan, CT. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one son, Jerome Thomas Moylan; eight sisters and four brothers. The funeral will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the Haverstock Funeral Home, LaPorte, with Rev. George M. Vrabely officiating. Friends may call Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.; with a Rosary recited by Father Vrabely at 7 p.m.;and Friday from 9 a.m. until the service. Burial of Ashes will take place at a later date in the Calvary Cemetery, Greenfield, Mass. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor?s choice.
