Maria Isabel Negrete

Con profunda tristeza anunciamos el fallecimiento de nuestra querida hija y hermana, Maria Isabel "Chabelita" Negrete, quien falleció el 16 de Junio del 2025 a la edad de 19 años. Chabelita nació el dia 12 de Mayo del 2006 en Michigan City, Indiana. Le sobreviven sus queridos padres, Osvaldo y Nancy Negrete, su hermano Daniel Negrete.

Chabelita era conocida por su risa contagiosa, su gran corazón y su pasión por el ballet y le encantaba ponerse sus uñas rosas y peinarse con sus chinos y estar alrededor de su familia. Amaba ver su show favorito el Chavo del Ocho y escuchar musica. Su color favorito era color Rosa. Su espíritu brillante conmovió la vida de todos los que la conocieron y la extrañarán profundamente.

El funeral se celebrará en Haverstock Funeral Home 602 Maple Ave La Porte, Indiana el Domingo, 22 de Junio del 2025 de 4:00pm-8:00pm. La misa de cuerpo presente se llebara acabo el Lunes, 23 de Junio del 2025 a las 11:00am en St. Joseph Catholic Church 109 C St La Porte, Indiana. Arreglos florales son bienvenidos y se puede hacer donaciones a la familia en memoria de Chabelita en Havertstock.

Arrangements under the direction of Haverstock Funeral Home 602 Maple Ave. La Porte, IN. Visitation will be held Sunday, June 22 from 4pm until 8 pm. Funeral mass will be held Monday, June 23 at 11 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church 109 "C" Street La Porte, IN withe interment to follow at Pine Lake Cemetery La Porte.

Memorial donation may be made to the family in Maria's name.

Maria Isabel “Chabelita” Negrete

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter and sister, Maria Isabel "Chabelita" Negrete, who passed away on June 16, 2025 at the age of 19.

Chabelita was born on May 12, 2006 in Michigan City, Indiana. She is survived by her beloved parents, Osvaldo and Nancy Negrete and brother Daniel Negrete.

Chabelita was a lifelong resident of Laporte. Baptized a catholic, she attended St. Joseph Catholic Church. She attended Hailmann Elementary, Riley Elementary, Boston Middle School, Kesling Intermediate School and graduated in 2024 from LaPorte High School. She was known for her contagious laugh, big heart and passion for ballet where she attended at Dance Foundation of LaPorte. She loved to have her pink nails, loved getting her hair curled and loved being around her family. She loved to watch his favorite show, El Chavo del Ocho, and listen to music. Her favorite color was pink. Her brilliant spirit touched the lives of all who knew her and will be missed deeply.

She is survived by her beloved family;
